Vanth Labs makes Hannah, an open source AI assistant with a voice, a 3D body and hands. She runs on your own computer, talks back in real time, moves while she speaks, and does things on your machine with your permission. We are two people in Lima, Peru.
What we believe
Local by default
An assistant that lives on your desk should not need to phone home. Hannah's speech recognition, voice, vision and gestures run on your own GPU, and her backend listens only on localhost. A cloud model is a choice you make in a panel, not the price of admission.
A body, not a chat box
People talk to faces, not to text fields. Hannah answers in a voice while the model is still writing, gestures with what she says (a motion model we trained turns each sentence into body language), and stops the instant you talk over her.
Hands, with permission
Being useful means doing things: sorting a folder, running a command, finding a file. Hannah does them through an agent under her voice, echoes every command in a real terminal, and asks before anything risky.
Who we are
Vanth Labs was founded in 2026 in Lima, Peru, by two people who wanted the thing science fiction kept promising: something on your screen that listens, answers in a voice, moves while it talks, and can actually do what you ask on your computer. Everything we ship is open source under the MIT license.
